As I consider my plans for today. I ask God to direct my thinking, asking that it be far from self pity, dishonesty, or self seeking motives. God please clear my thinking of wrong motives. During my day I ask you to help me determine which course of action to take. Here I ask you for inspiration, an intuitive thought and the ability to make a good decision. May Your will, not mine be done.
I ask that You help me be willing to turn my life and my will over to Your care. Grant me freedom from self-will and clear my thinking of wrong motives. May Your will, not mine, be done.
…Praying only for knowledge of His will, and the power to carry that out.

- In my life’s journey as a person in recovery, I wish to share the experience, strength and the hope that I have found along the way. A friend of mine said, “I looked at myself and found fear. I looked at you and found love.” I have found love and wish to share some with you today. Remember, you do not have to be perfect for me to love you! I love clichés and metaphors. The voice of written words, open to interpretation and creative inspiration. Please take what you can and leave your thoughts along the way.
